I was using my Canon MP490 with my old iMac with no problems. I just recently bought a brand new iMac and now my printer will not scan. Every time I try to scan, I get the following error message below. Notice how the MP490 is in the list of supported printers. I downloaded a driver update for the printer through Apple's software update and also downloaded and installed all of the new software that I could find on Canons website.
