Canon rebel xt question. need help

    what software and all is needed to tether my canon rebel xt to my macbook????

    Well first off you should avoid making duplicate threads, it clogs the forums..


    Anyways I thought canon dslrs came with free tethering software.. I did a quick google search and came up with this:

    The version of Image Capture that ships with Leopard does this. It is rather primitive as the only control is the shutter release, but it may be enough for you.

    Canon's included software does this too. Or at least I thought it did.

    Aperture 2 might do that, too, with your camera.

    Edit: I haven't tried tethered shooting with Leopard's Image Capture, but I've tried it with Tiger's Image Capture, although with a P&S.
