Hey everyone. I've always read posts here for advice but this is my first time posting.
Today a bought an old CanoScan LiDE 50 at a thrift store without knowing if it worked or not. It's powered by the USB so when I plug it in should it start firing up? Or does it only activate when it's accessed by a program?
And if so where do I put the driver? I've been trying to put it into the Import-Export plug in folder in Photoshop but it says it can't access it.
I mean if it's supposed to fire right up when you plug it in I guess it's broke. Oh well I paid $3.60 for it... I figured it probably wouldn't work anyway.
I'm running a Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook with Leopard.
