iPod touch Can'rt delete email

For some reason, my 3rd gen. Touch has all of a sudden decided that it can't delete email and crashes the email program. Even if it does trash the email, it shows up again the next time the email program is run.

I've tried a hard reset and still no go.

I didn't get any answers, so I tried deleting my mail accounts and then set them up again. That seems to have done the trick.

I can't imagine what happened, but there were three pieces of mail that caused the mail program to crash back to the home screen every time that I tried to delete them. All three were from the same day and all regular mail that I normally receive.

Anyway, seems to be fine now.
