Can't access apple pay after ios 17 update on phone

I upgrade my iphone 13 pro this week to ios 17 in preparation for my ultra 2. I now am unavailable to access apple pay to for my credit cards I had set up on Apple Pay. This includes my Apple Card. It says that Apple Pay needs an update but my ios is at the latest version so not sure what update I could do. I have reset my phone a couple times and not having any luck. The strange thing is I was able to add my cards to my watch without issue even though mirror iphone apple pay cards was turned on in the watch app.

Any ideas of what I could try? My wife has the exact opposite issue. She can't add her cards to her new watch but she has them on her phone.

I have the same problem. I tried the restore, but i still have the problem. Nothing helps…

I'd suggest reporting it to Apple Support, as we have done. The more people who report it, the sooner they'll hopefully fix it.

I am having the same problem. Keeps on saying I need to verify card, which I have! I have signed out and back into iCloud account. Done a soft reset and also check region is right. Nothing is working. I have just reported it to Apple too. I really hope there is a fix soon, as I use my Apple Pay a lot these days
