So a while ago I jailbroke my 3rd gen itouch and eventually put on a custom unlock screen for which the safari icon must be slid across to bring up the unlock keypad screen (as if it were the unlock arrow). Then one day the ipod completely died and when I recharged it, everything on the custom unlock screen was the same, except there is an empty spot where the safari icon is. I dont have access to the computer which had all of my music, so my only hope of recovering my songs is this ipod. Also, I have never synced it to the computer I DO have access to.

The questions I am asking is:

Is there anything I can do to either put the music files onto my computer without unlocking it, as it is clearly not possible to do this?

Is there a way to delete the passcode externally so that my ipod can be linked to iTunes and backed up so that after I restore it I can still have my music?
OR

Am I screwed?

What iOS version is it jailbroken on?

Did you edit files or did you use winter board for the custom unlock screen?

I jail broke about 3 years ago. I don't remember specifics and yes I'm pretty sure I used winterboard
