Can't access shared Windows drives

I have three shared drives on my PC. They are all set up with identical permissions. My Mac can access only one of them. For the other two I get a message that the original item can not be found.

is "allow other users to modify files" (around the lines of) ticked for the other drives in sharing preferences.

I turned on all permissions for one of the inaccessible shares and I still get the same message.

I found the problem. I'm using Vista and in addition to sharing a drive and setting permissions you also have to modify the security settings for network access.
