iPod touch Can't Activate FaceTime?

Hello,

Every time I try to sign in to FaceTime for the first time on my iPod touch, it says "An error occurred during activation. Try again."

I've been trying for about two months now, and still no luck. Any help? I've even tried creating a new Apple ID, but it still will not allow me to sign in.

Have you tried activating it from Settings.app yet?

Is your Apple ID an email address? It seems like you have to change the Apple ID name into an email address to get it to work.
