Pretty much as the title states, for some reason Safari no longer adds new sites to the bookmarks when I save them.

Tried resetting Safari, checked privileges (R&W) and can't find a previous solution on here so anyone else have any ideas ?

Try deleting /Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist then restart Safari. If that doesn't help, you might try reinstalling Safari.

You are a genius - the first solution fixed it, thank you very much; it's been bugging me for quite a while now :D

Deleting preferences did not work for me with Safari on my MacPro.

But, I found this article about the same problem on iPads, see http://ipad.about.com/od/iPad_Troub...ant-Add-Bookmarks-In-iPads-Safari-Browser.htm Unchecking Safari iniCloud allows me to save bookmarks again I will say that I had to reboot several times, before the problem went away, but eventually it seems to be working correctly. Fingers crossed.
