i recently had my iphone 'cracked'. It's the old style, not a 3G. I've got cydia, winterboard, and installer on it. My problem is that when I receive a call, the phone will ring non-stop until the battery dies. If I see it ringing, I am unable to answer it unless I hit the home button and then the 'slide'. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think the default answer for any problem that isn't app or software related should be set to "restore".

Although this may be software related, it probably has nothing to do with anything you installed (my educated assumption) so I would just go ahead and restore. If that doesn't do it, get ready for a trip to the Apple store.

Just so that you know, your phone isn't "cracked." It's jailbroken.

We understand what you mean, but at some point, you may need to distinguish between the terminology so that you get the right answers in the future.

With that being said, you need to restore your OS. sync and backup, and run a restore. Check if the phone functionality returns.

If it doesn't, you have a hardware problem.

It it does, re-jailbreak, and restore from backup.

Did you have any other jailbroken apps installed?
