Hello. I have a mid 2010 Mac mini that I haven’t updated in a long time, I was suggested not too by many people because I may run into issues. I’m running Sierra 10.12.5 but my iTunes is up to date with 12.8.2.3. I just updated my iPhone 6s to iOS 14 and I went to back it up in iTunes and it said I needed to update for my phone to be recognized!!! Does this mean I can’t back up my iPhone into iTunes as I always have? I figured if iTunes was up to date I’d be ok. Thanks.

I'm no expert, but iTunes 12.8.x is incompatible with iOS 14, according to what I've read on this forum. Apparently, iTunes 12.10.x is required (and no, I haven't figured where I can obtain it either).

Huh wow. Ok. Thanks. So, you don’t just get updates sent to your Mac If you have one? Maybe my Mac is too old.
