iPhone 7/Plus Cant backup my iPhone to iTunes, Help!

Iphone7, IOS 12.2

Itunes Version 12.9.4.94

IMAC 3.8 GHZ

Mac OS 10.14.4

No matter what I do nor how many times I try and backup to my computer I am constantly getting the error : Cannot back up to iTunes because an error has occurred.

Any ideas.

Have you tried updating your Mac which
Will update iTunes? Latest iTunes is 12.9.5.5. Tried using a different port or use OEM cable?

Update everything/restart everything/make sure you have enough space on Mac and at least 5% free storage on the phone.

iTunes typically has problems with later versions of iOS that were released after that version of iTunes was released.

If you're going to ride the iOS monthly upgrade train, you've got to do the same with iTunes (and eventually your Mac's OS..... and eventually the computer itself.
