After buying the M2 Mac mini I found I still have my users guide to the Intel core solo Mini I bought after the Mini switched from the G4 CPU. Awesome.

I had forgotten about the external PSU on the mini. Definitely don’t miss that. Also don’t miss the single core CPU and anaemic GPU… nice to see the many ways that a modern Mac mini can serve as a more serious computing device than the OG Intel (not far removed from the G4 original)!

I still have that disk of 1.2Mb, ±38cm wide; if I remember well it did cost some $800.
Unfortunately I do not have a suitable drive, which costed about $22000 in those days.
Evolution is a monster ...
