Can't boot from Snow Leopard DVD

    Dear :apple:formumers,
    I got a Macbook Blac edition, 1 Gb RAM and 80Gb of HDD.
    It's running in Tiger 10.4.11 now, and ik got myself a DVD of Snow Leopard, now when I insert my disk it spins 3 times and then eject itself. I tried couple times and 1 ime it did work, i needed to resart thr Macbook, so i did but then when i restarted it, it ejected again.

    plaese help?

    (BTW sorr for my awefull english, not used to type english)

    If your "DVD of Snow Leopard" is really the System Restore disc that shipped with a recent Mac, then it will not boot your computer and most certainly cannot be used to install OS X on your MacBook. You need a retail DVD for Snow Leopard.

    Thank you, after my examens i'm getting my DVD at the Store, i hope it il work then :D, thanks guys
