I have a 2013 MBA with El Capitan and Windows 10 (Bootcamp) installed. It was working fine at first and was able to boot up in either OS then a while ago I had a El Capitan update and since then the only way I can boot in to either OS is to press and hold the "Option key" at power on.

Is there anyway of fixing this issue without re-installing both OS's?

Did you maybe rename the disk?

Try to setup the Startup Disk in System Preferences and then click on Restart. It should boot automatically always from that one after you have done it. You can do the same in the Windows Control Panel if you use Bootcamp.

No I've not changed disk names and already tried that, didn't work :(

Thanks for your help though :)
