Hi,

I've just bought a LaCie slim porche design lightscribe USB DVD+- RW drive
so I can burn DVDs using my ibook G4.

I installed the driver software from the LaCie web site
(the supplied software that came with the unit was just for windows).

It all seems to work fine - and I have even succeeded in burning a
CD on the external drive.

But if I create a disc burn folder and fill it with a few Gbytes of files and then
insert a DVD -R, it tells me there isn't enough space. It seems that the finder
thinks that I have put in a CD - despite the fact that I have installed the
driver software from LaCie that says it is compatible with finder, itunes... etc.

Can someone give me step by step instructions what to do ?

Thanks very much
Nick

My house!
DVD Burning may not be support from the Finder with that burner. You may have to go through something like Toast.
