Hey folks, got a problem I've never encountered before. I have the latest rMBP 15.4 and I can't change my desktop photo. I choose it in Preferences but it will not show on the desktop. Very frustrating.

Any help? Thnx!

Try putting the picture directly into the Pictures folder on the Mac, double(right click style, not 2 successive taps) tap the picture while it's in there, and choose to Set Desktop Picture.

This is really weird. When i select all windows by going to my hot corner I can see the desktop photo I've chosen. But when I actually select a window that photo goes away and reverts to the standard photo.

Try opening Misson Control (F3 key or four finger swipe up). You might have different background pictures set for different virtual desktops, which will show up along the top edge of Mission Control.
