Can’t change language on my iPhone 11 pro

Hey guys, I’ve tried changing in General settings under language & region to English but it keeps getting stuck in Malaysian in my apps. I have the region under United Kingdom currently. Any suggestions?

Yes have tried that several times. Doesn't work. 🙁

Ok, I found the problem. Under General/Keyboards/ there was English (UK) and then second choice Malay. I deleted the Malay one and now it’s solved. Strange that my keyboard used Malay though even though it was the second option.
