Can't Change my iCal Icon

Why is the overlay always on angle? Can it be adjusted? Can it be removed entirely?

I would very much like to know that as well. I don’t even need to turn or modify the date stamp, just remove it completely and I’d be happy.
I straightened all my icons, just iCal I left slant because it doesn’t look good straightened when the date stamp is still slant.
