Cant Clean Install Gives an Error at the End!!!

I ran into the same problem. kept getting the same error msg as you. i luckily had a 2nd mac handy and reburned the dvd. installed like a charm. don't dismiss that it is the disk.....

I frankly dont like the idea of installing two operating systems one over the other im downloading lion again and will try the usb way

Are you trying to install on an encrypted disk? I was having the same problem but reformatting as HFS+ (journaled) instead of HFS+ (journaled, encrypted) made it work like a charm.

Well you guys were right specially Firesokar... I ran the log and apparently additionalspeechvoices.pkg was corrupted or damaged... So I downloaded Lion again on another computer and installed on a USB stick and worked like a charm!!!
