Hi, not sure if this is just me or I'm doing something wrong, but there is a pop-up of the MacRumors site in the middle of the desktop site.

No matter what there seems to be no way to close it, so it is just there persistently in the middle of the screen which means I cannot use the site at all. See the attached picture.

Any ideas?

Yeah that’s weird. Try the reset stuff.

Right, I did some testing and I am only getting this issue on Chrome on a Windows laptop. All other browsers work fine.

However, on Chrome I can't seem to get rid of this pop-up. I've tried refreshing the site, opening/closing the browser, clearing out the cookies and it is still occuring.

EDIT: I think this has something to do with the privacy policy not loading correctly, as I do not see that screen when first loading the site.

I’ve never seen this issue. Maybe it’s somehow related to the Gdpr alert. Does it happen when you visit the front page for the first time? https://www.macrumors.com

Yes, it's definitely linked to the GDPR alert. It doesn' appear on the homepage or the buying guide. It appears on all other pages. Who do you use for your GDPR alert? Maybe I need to look at their cookies, or maybe something is stored somewhere that has corrupted.
