I can’t connect the Apple Pencil 2 to my iPad Pro. I’ve had the pencil replaced and still won’t work. Any ideas? Have tried resetting iPad, resetting settings

Assuming that you make sure that it is charged - does it appear in the list of devices under Settings > Bluetooth? What - if any - error occurs when you try to pair? What version of iPadOS? which iPP model?

EDIT: Have you coupled any other pencil with this iPad? you have to remove it first.

To check the pencil: does the it appear in the list of bluetooth devices of e.g. your iPone/Android phone, Mac, etc.? Do you have any other bluetooth peripheral succesfully coupled with your iPP?

My iPad is the 11 inch last gen…this is my second pencil I’ve had and not being detected. I had a pencil that worked before and then the iPad just stopped detecting it. Assumed it was the pencil but doesn’t seem like it now?

is the old pencil still in the list of paired bluetooth devices? you have to delete it there. Then try to pair your new pencil.

EDIT: I like to reiterate - does your iPP detect ANY bluetooth peripherals?

Nope. when I forgot the old Apple Pencil, that’s when the trouble began. I got my AirPods to connect

So when you stick the Pencil to the magnet on the side of the iPad, nothing happens?

I have the same problem. My wife's 11in a couple days ago, then my 12.9in today. What are the chances both pencils out in the same week?
slightly depending on use - but from my experience as an admin at a public school with hundreds of pencils and thousands of iPads - if you bought these less than 24 month ago, highly unlikely. Actually, that they are "out” effects currently more or less exclusively Pencil 1 at my work place (basically the first generation available), and they are not really “out”, but need charging after a short interval.
