Can't connect to server

All of the sudden I can not connect to my server at work. I get an error message every time that says your username and password is not correct. IT dept has ruled out server problems and password etc are correct.

I tried to create a new alias but I can't even get that far b/c I cant log in.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

What OS is the server using?

What is the exact error you're getting?

I have a Macbook running OS X 10.4.11

I apologize, I do not know what server my company is running, however I can find out if you do need it.

The error message is telling me that I cannot connect to the server because name or password are wrong
