Hey trying to get my xbox 360 hooked up to my mac so I can use the internet, I have searched extensively and cannot get this thing working. I have it connected to the network but not the internet. So for my primary dns server I have my routers ip that I got from -:apple: - about this mac - network - router and in this case it is 192.168.1.1 for my secondary dns server I have my adress from my macbook that I got from www.whatsmyipaddress.com. It says it can not connect. I'm super frustrated thanks

[not sure ‘bout this one]maybe it’s not compatible or cannot support each other..Xbox 360 was from Microsoft right? What I know is Mac only support their product (I’ve heard it from someone..haha) branding method.
Just correct me if I’m wrong.🙂

That's not true at all. Network protocols are standard and it doesn't matter that you're trying to connect the Xbox to the internet through a Mac. That said I'm not sure how it's done just that it can be done.

Do you not have a router. Whilst it's possible to do it the way you're trying to using a router is a lot more straight forward and less frustrating.
