can't copy to 2nd hard drive

I can't copy to the second hard drive without "authorizing" it with my password. What did I do to cause this and how do i fix it?

hmm

I think u may be logged in as a user with no administration privileges just log in as admin or enable urself to be via system preferences should solve your problem

Check the permissions on the hard drive (cmd-I on the icon in the desktop). Make sure the owner is set to your current user, and that you have read & write access.
