Help!

I can no longer control-click on a folder on my desktop (for example when I want to create an archive of it or see the contextual menu).

All that happens when I try is that the colour wheel comes up, everything disappears from my desktop and the top menu bar (with the clock etc on) disappears.

Everything comes back OK after a few seconds.

However, I can still control click on dock items to call up the menu.

I have a G4 PowerBook (1.67GHz, OSX 10.4.10).

Any ideas? Your help is much appreciated.

Keith

Open up Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder and sort All Processes by CPU cycles. Try CONTROL-clicking again and see if a process jumps to the top or gets highlighted in red. :)
