Just got my 7+. It's amazing but it's just slightly to big in my hands (I'm 6'5 with bigger than average hands) however now when I hold my 6s it feels tiny. Any advice? I wanna keep the plus but concerned about everyday use.

Keep the Plus. I moved from a 6 to a 6S+ last year and at first I thought that I made a mistake but you get used to it. Some people just use primarily as a phone with fancy features so for those it doesn't matter, but in my case I use a lot of apps and use for work like email and web surfing so the larger screen and extra battery life is almost a necessity for me now.

I had a 6 plus and i worried about whether or not i had made the right choice. So, two years later, when the iphone 7 came out, there was no question i'd be going with the plus again. Myhusband and daughter both have iphone 6, not the plus, and their phones seem so tiny now. I know as long as there is a plus version, that's what I will be ordering. I could never go back to that smaller screen now. The large screen, better battery life, faster processor, the plus is the superior choice in my case.
However, if you must carry your phone in small pockets, I could see where that might be an issue. But again, for me, the larger screen size more than makes up for that.

I had a six plus for six months and while I really liked having the larger screen I gradually got tired of the larger over all size and ultimately decided to get a smaller phone. Just fits me better. It's a love/hate thing. Love the big screen, dislike having to deal with the big a$$ size of the thing. Was always hard to pocket that dang six+. Took me six months to get it sorted Lol.

Keep the Plus. I have been in the same boat, now I'm used to the size and I just can't go back solely for battery life.

I would love a smaller phone, easier to handle... but the alternative for me would be bringing my iPad while commuting (it's now collecting dust since I got the Plus) or buying the smart battery case. But the cost of the 7 plus the battery case almost matches the cost of the plus.

All a matter of personal preference. I had the Plus for 2 years and decided to downsize this year and couldn't be happier. I love the lighter, more portable feel of the regular 7. It fits my lifestyle much better and I have yet to miss the extra screen space. But, others feel the complete opposite of me. Lots of other threads on this topic, by the way.

It would be ideal if Apple made a phone with a 5 inch screen. Guess it's back to the non plus iPhone.

I am in the same boat as cbreze. Have the 6s+ and loved the larger screen, but the 7 just fits my needs (and hands) better.

I'm considering exchanging my 7 plus for a 7. Not that I don't like the size, I do. Just thinking I want a change.

I am 6'4" with mid sized hands for my size (I can palm a basketball) and I went with the plus on the 6 model. At first it felt strange but now I could never go back. I love the screen size and all I can read, see on it. I am awaiting my 7+ now (what a debacle!). You will get used to it. I would bet your hands are larger than the majority of plus users.

It's really a matter of preference.

I want to be able to use the phone with one hand and I can't do this with the Plus, so that alone is a dealbreaker for me.
The benefits I get from the Plus that I occasionally need or use (the better camera for pictures and the bigger screen for web browsing, gaming and watching videos) are just not worth carrying around a huge phone all the time - at least not to me.
When I'm at home I use my MacBook for these kinds of things anyway, that's why I want a phone that is portable and easy to handle when I'm on the go. And as great as the Plus' battery life is, the 7 gets me easily through the day.

Please don't think I'm saying you should get a 7 instead. I'm sure the Plus fits the needs of some (or a lot) people just perfectly. But if you're reading this and you find yourself in these words, because you are like me in terms of the way you use your phone, then you should consider getting the 7.

+1 and I'm 5'6" with relatively small hands.
I do lots of web browsing and the + is my device of choice for quick stuff, over my MacBook and iPad. The 1080p screen, dual cameras and much bigger battery just put the gravy on top :)

I can relate OP. First time bringing my Plus to work yesterday and it's damn near impossible to use the phone one handed. Before the Plus I was using a SE and that phone is so incognito at work. And next I noticed that using the phone in bed makes your hands tired, something I've never noticed with my SE.
The plan was to use the SE on the go and the 7 Plus at home. I'll give it a few more days. Or maybe I'll carry both depending on the situation.

I am going from 5s directly to 7+. Bought the 6s+ but returned it to wait for the 7.

The difference is huge and the biggest impact is that I can't use the phone anymore while driving, which I think is a great thing for overall safety and forcing myself not to multi-task in the car.

If you need the bigger screen for media or work, I would get it. If you really don't do anything intensive that needs that extra screen space, then stick with the 7.
