3g speeds on Sprint and Verizon are too slow (iPhone or not) which basically should exclude iPhone 4S out of consideration. As other suggested Samsung Galaxy Nexus will probably be a great phone.

Just FYI, 30M units shipped to distribution channels does not equal 30M units sold.

Unlike with some tablets that were judged not ready by everyone, the SGS2's popularity, awards and constantly positive reviews are good indications that sell through to end users is very high.

Moreover, SGS2 sales have continued to climb over time. Retailers would not continue to buy millions more over months if they were just sitting on shelves.

Every person who asks the Macrumors iPhone forum if they should get phone XYZ or an iPhone, ultimately wants an iPhone. Period.

Why fool yourself? Why waste your time, and ours, asking this question in the most Apple biased forum on the web?

Not a single person who has ever come here asking if they should buy phone X or an iPhone has been told they should buy phone X by any meaningful amount of forum members.

Congratulations on choosing an iPhone.
