Cant delete or download the same app?

I tried downloading the new kik messaging app and it stopped the download and just says waiting. I am usually able to hold them down and delete them or restart and they wont show up anymore but I have tried both and it will not delete or go away, all it says is waiting with a non loading status bar.

found out I had to sign in and out of itunes on my phone....fixed
