Can't Delete Outbox (Mail app)

How in the hell do I delete this? The option is greyed out and I've removed all my accounts from the Mail app but it doesn't go away.

I’m pretty sure you can’t delete it. It is where your emails go when you send them. Why are you trying to do this?

See if this works:

Go to Mail>Preferences>Privacy and uncheck "Hide IP Address". Quit and restart Mail if necessary. Re-check "Hide IP Address" if you want that feature back on.

I've found that the Outbox shows up in a permanent kind of way if I try to send a message when my computer is offline or the Mail account is offline. Getting everything back online doesn't necessarily make the Outbox disappear, for some reason.

Not sure what I did but it's gone now ha. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try that if it happens again!
