Can't delete Pages documents

For some reason, Pages is not giving me the option to delete documents. I've dragged the doc to the trash bin, I've tried right clicking it, I've tried deleting it from the Edit window in the document and still no go. I really need and want to delete these Pages docs. Can somebody please help me out? Thank you, in advance for your help 😱

You have never been able to delete a document from within any of the iWork applications!! I don't even think that you can do that within any word processer!!! or Office style programme... So I don't know... But if you right click on any file within Finder... and then click "Move To Trash"... then empty the trash (Command-Shift-Backspace)... it should be deleted!!
