I want to reformat and install SL fresh and am getting an error when i use Disk Utility (booting from SL DVD) to delete the RAID0 config. The error is "invalid request".

I have 4x640 in Software RAID0 that i boot from.

solved my problem. i removed one of the drives then booted from DVD. The OS saw it as broken RAID and treated the drives as individual disks so i was able to erase them and reconfigure. reinserted the other drive and erased it as well.

btw i tried terminal command 'destroyRAID' and it didn't work either, i forget the error it returned, something like 9998, google had some info on that error but nothing helped.
