I installed this Screen Saver called Random.Saver which is supposed to allow me the ability to activate the screen saver on one of my displays and not the other. It didn't work quite right so I deleted it from the Screen Saver listing in Preferences. However, I notice the file still exists on my system and when I try to delete its contents, I'm not permitted to.
I've even tried a terminal window with the rm command, it asks me if I want to override the permissions, I say yes and it says the operation is not permitted. I then tried to give myself full access to the file and Mac OS rejects giving me full permission. I'm at a loss for why I can't seem to delete it. Even from within Finder, I right click, and there's no "Move To Trash" option. Even when I right click and select "See Contents", I'm unable to delete any of its contents.
Anyone have any idea how I can remove this from my computer. I noticed the other .SAVER screensaver files operate the same way by the looks of it. I was just concerned that perhaps this is spyware but Malwarebytes didn't find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
