Hi there

I tried to connect an external SSD which is AFPS formatted and was used as TimeMachine backup. And it can‘t detect the drive.

Is it because it was used as TimeMachine backup and encrypted? Because on MacOS it can connect.

Indeed, it's because iPadOS/iOS do not support reading encrypted disks.

It's not a supported feature.
