Hi there,

I have a 2009 A1278 and it wouldn't boot up. There's a beep sound repeating every five seconds and I've checked on the site, there's no RAM detected by the logic board. I've tried different RAM to test and the RAM seems not to have a problem. Is the logic board faulty? Can I just replace the RAM socket? Thanks!

Most likely you've got bigger issues than the RAM socket, unless you see physical damage.
