Cant downgrade from 1.1.3

    So I have restored my ipod to 1.1.3 ( it broke! :( ) Now I want to down grade it back to 1.1.1, but in itunes, when I restore it to the 1.1.1 file on my computer is says that ipod could not be restored, unknown error, and a number (1, 1250, 59, 1645) How do i fix this, i want to jail break again!!!

    easiest fix, uninstall iTunes 7.6 reboot pc and install iTunes 7.5 ;)

    this worked for me

    turn off ipod (red slider)
    plug into usb
    load itunes
    shift click restore and install 1.1.2
    and there you go now just do what you do to get to 1.1.1

    pm me if it doesnt work because i couldnt find the website on my history for it

    I'm not sure if it is the same as iPhone, but for that it is best to put it into what is known as DFU mode to downgrade it.

    Also, just a tip if you are a mac user and are running something like USB monitor (not-universal) or Peripheral Vision (plasq has a universal version linked on their forum) you can see when the iPhone/iPod has flipped into DFU mode.
