Can't download safari 4

tried to from apple's site a million times, on safari and firefox, not working.

it says error and I have to go to the activity window to see the issue.
 
Hmmmm. I just downloaded again.... took about 15 seconds. Do you possibly have some ad-blocking or firewall settings that prevent it?
 
I doubt my university would block Apple downloads but you never know.

is there a mirror where I can get it?
 
I couldn't download it in Safari, I tried FireFox and it worked. Seems a bit ironic that I couldn't download it with Safari.

Since you already tried FireFox and Safari, try Camino. Just search it in Google.
 
where is the mirror site?

I'm having the same download problem, tried other browsers, I'm running no firewall, where is the mirror site?
 
I'm having the same problem. Cannot download with either Safari nor Firefox. Repaired permissions to no avail.

After about 20 seconds a window appears saying "Thankyou for download", however, nothing is downloaded. The Activity window says, http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.../061-4669.20090224.lpsaf/Safari4.0BetaLeo.dmg Frame load interrupted

When I hold the control key and try to download the file to desktop, it only shows the option to download image, no file. Interesting

I was able to download Safari 4.0 this morning about 10:00. Maybe good nights sleep?
