Can't Edit Folder Contents.

So, I want to edit the contents of a folder that is the "Package Contents" of an Application on my mac. Meaning I clicked on "Show Package Contents" to access the folder. I went to "Get Info" on the folder and it said I have Read&Writing Permissions, but I still can't edit the permissions or anything that has to do with the folder. The folder in named "Contents" by the way.
