Can't edit name of events in iPhoto, what's wrong?

So I just got an iMac and I'm importing photo's from my old PC. They are already organized in folders so all I had to do was drag and drop from my external. Problem is, I can't seem to edit the names of the events (already named after folder from PC). I click on the name in events and it turns white, but when I try to type something in, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Something like this should be so easy but it's so damn frustrating! 😕 Help!
