cant eject disk images in leopard

    tried throwing them away and tried clicking the eject button in finder but they dont do anything they just stay on my desktop

    any ideas?

    time machine is backing up could this be why?

    There is a bug where if you are using anything that is mounted (dmg, external disk ect..) you are not able to eject anything else even if not in use.

    Once TM is finished you should be able to eject them.

    relaunching finder seems to have fixed it, that was really weird

    Yep, relaunching Finder worked for me too... thanks!
