Cant empty trash

    For some reason I have PDF file in the Trash and I cant empty it. When I try to empty i do receive message "The operation can't be completed because the item "name.pdf" is in use."

    I did close all the programs, I did open other PDF's and delete them, but for some reason I cant delete this one.

    What can I do?

    Restart the computer.
