Can't empty trash

    I had an old external drive that I deleted a few files from, then I got rid of the drive, the problem is the files I deleted are stuck in my trash and I can't erase them anymore... I've tried some suggested terminal commands and the secure empty... Etc.. But they will not delete!

    Any ideas?
