ive got a 2017 Sony 940e which is HDR10 enabled and will be patched to DV. My Denon receiver is patched for HDR and DV. Apple TV reports it can’t enable HDR, and maybe I need to enable deep color on that HDMI. All ports should have that I think. Anyone run into this?

From rtings review on the 940E "HDMI 2.0 full bandwidth is only possible on HDMI inputs 2 and 3, and only when 'HDMI Enhanced Format' is enabled."

Ok didn’t have enhanced format on, that did it. Terrible colors now, gotta fix that but on the way.
[doublepost=1506111837][/doublepost]Thanks!
[doublepost=1506113527][/doublepost]enhanced mode kills everything, it shows that it’s running in HDR but all the colors are washed out and lifeless, the calibration setup for standard is totally borked. Any idea what to do?

So I just hooked up my second ATV to a different TV, an LG E7 OLED. It "just works" great with HDR/DV out the box. Someone suggested I turn the first one to HDR 30hz output and that will remove the need for the Enhanced HDMI. Will try that.
