Guys, i can't enter dfu mode on my iphone 4 on ios 7.1.2. I looked for the steps but i still can't enter dfu mode. When i enter dfu mode on windows, i hear a double error sound. Help me please!

Guys, i can't enter dfu mode on my iphone 4 on ios 7.1.2. I looked for the steps but i still can't enter dfu mode. When i enter dfu mode on windows, i hear a double error sound. Help me please!

To enter DFU:
1) Start iTunes
2) Turn off iPhone
3) Hold down home button
4) Plug in USB cable
5) Do not let go until you see the 'iTunes plug appear'
Follow iTunes prompts.
