Hi, I am new to this!

My macbook is telling me I have 36 gb of audio files on it although i actually have none as I have deleted all of my music.

I have read previous posts and tried searching finder using the music criteria and this still only shows up 246mb!

All help would be appreciated!

Check your iTunes folder. You probably have the option "on" for duplicating music in iTunes preferences. I think it's somewhere inside the media folder but not sure.

The spotlight index is likely out of date. Reindex the drive and it should show up correctly.
