sooo...my macbook needs an archive and install but i can't seem to find my install sick (slight chance its in my college stuff far away for another few weeks) but if its not there what should I do?

My roommate got a new macbook last year with leopard on it...I'm running 10.4.11 though Would I be able to use her disk to archive and install my computer?

If not is it possible to buy them or anything/where should i look? apple store has them but they're all 199+ and i'd rather not spend that on a 3 yr old laptop :/

If anyone has any ideas that'd be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks🙂

You cannot use a Leopard disc from another Mac. It would not install. The only choice you have is to wait or buy a new copy if you want.
