I have two first gen iPad pros and two pencils. Both pencils will pair with one of them, though they will not pair with the other. I have rebooted it, turned off bluetooth, turned it back on, though it never sees the pencil. Is there something else I can try?

Thanks.

Yup, sure did. Nothing, it never shows up under devices in the bluetooth settings.

Are you able to pair an Apple Pencil, then unpair that Pencil, then pair the other one? Maybe iPads don't support 2 Apple Pencils paired at once.

It just will not pair with either pencil. I checked both pencils with another iPad and they both work, this iPad just will not pair...

I recently had the same with my daughter’s iPad. I charged the pencil separately rather than plug it in....turned iPad on and off, and then inserted into iPad and it found it.

Bumping this thread as I've had similar issues with my Air 3. It just seems like it occasionally will just not see accessories in the lightning port. I'll plug in the Apple pencil...sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn't. When it didn't, I un-paired it and tried to pair it? Nothing. Wouldn't pair. Next day? Paired and charged fine. Using the camera connection kit - plug it in, turn on the camera. Sometimes it begins auto import. Sometimes it doesn't auto import, but I can still access the files and manually copy. Sometimes it does literally nothing.
