Can't get my SMS to sync.

I just downloaded Yosemite and I'm trying to get the messaging app synced up with my iPhone. It should do it automatically, but it's not. I also have the same apple account on both devices. Any help?

If you don't have iOS 8.1, then wait for that on Monday.

I believe you need iOS 8.1 running on your iPhone for all the Continuity features which doesn't come out for the public until Monday.
