I can't get it to do anything. I push the mic button I say something and then I push it again and nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Don't push the button again (unless you're doing speech-to-text in a text message or email). When you activate Siri by holding down the home button, after the "ding-ding" say what you want then wait a second...it'll give you another ding and then begin doing it's thing. It's able to recognize when you stop talking. :D

You're doing it wrong. Hold home button for a few seconds then start talking. No need to press mic button again. What you did was start Siri then end it by pressing Mic button. No wonder it doesn't work.

I've tried. Nothing happens. I say text message, I get nothing. I say email, I get nothing. Any of the suggestions I try and still nothing.

When you tap the mike, do you get a double ding sound?

Ok, first, try again, let it ding twice, and then, holding the phone mike close to your mouth, speak each word separately (like you are talking to someone who is partly deaf):

What Is Today?

See what it tells you. The reason I told you to do it like that is because we need to see if it's an issue with you speaking too quietly, too rapidly, etc.

i'm having the same problem too. Full wifi signal.

-Press home button till siri comes up and beeps twice.
-I say "what's the weather like today" and can see the purple level in the mic moving. I stop speaking
-I hear two more beeps, see the purple line going around the circle.

And then nothing. No further response.

It's not working for me either. Saying having trouble with the network, when my phone has full bars and all my airport router is working fine.

I synced to my computer, then it ran me through the setup. I waiting for all the apps to install and it seems to work now.

I'm not having any problems, and haven't all evening.

I guess just try again every now and then, and if you still can't get it to work properly by morning, have Apple check it out.

Siri is not working AT ALL

no matter what I say, it comes back with: "Uh oh, something is wrong" or "I can't connect to the network" So disappointing...:(
