Can't get Spatial Audio to work

I have iPadOS14 GM install, the AirPods Pro are updated to the latest 3A283 version yet no option for Spatial Audio is displayed to me. Anyone else experiencing this?

Additionally automatic audio switching doesn't work between the iPad and my MacBook Pro on Big Sur, but I've seen other people having issues with that.

There are no options in the settings for Spatial Audio or Automatic Switching.

Turns out my iPad Pro 10.5 apparently doesn't support the feature, for some reason. http://disq.us/p/2buvyyp

Here’s how I get it to work... turn on Noise Cancellation via the quick pull down control panel screen... back out then go back in Spatial will show off now tap and turn on.

Ah cool I'll give that a crack. I have the option on my iPhone now I've installed iOS14, but the iPad is a no-go. Still can't actually find any content that does spatial audio mind you.

I’m not sure YouTube supports Atmos/multi channel audio?
